Sparky Price is the founder and guide for Trophy Guide Service on Raystown Lake. Sparky was born and raised in the Raystown area and has known the lake before and after its filling up in the 60's and 70's. He has to his credit hundreds of citation size fish and his four Pennsylvania State record stripers are the most state records ever caught by any angler in the history of record keeping! In 1989 Sparky led the nation in points on the National Striper Tournament Trail, and in 1990 finished second, missing a repeat by just four pounds.
He has been interviewed by many local and national magazines, and has appeared on numerous outdoor T.V. shows. He is also a member of the Keystone Striper Club, a group committed to the enhancement of striper fishing! Sparky believes that "part-time" guiding leads to "part-time" success. Therefore, he chose some years ago to leave a good job and become single minded with a single purpose!
