Black Bear, Wild Boar, Feral Hogs, White Tail Deer, Turkey, Grouse, Coyote and Small Game hunting guide service is available in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Southeastern Tennessee's Cherokee National Forest (Tellico Ranger District) and Southwestern North Carolina's Nantahala National Forest (Tusquitee Ranger District).
What we offer:
- Affordable, free range, fair chase hunting the old fashioned way with or without hounds with an experienced guide. We provide the hunting dogs and the guide. We hunt both private and public game lands. (There are NO fenced in animals) We also help get the game out and field dressed for travel at no extra charge
- No trophy fees to pay!
- No hidden costs of any kind
- Non-hunters and tag-a-longs welcome at no charge - camera/video is permitted on all hunts
- Free hunting for youngsters age 16 and under who's parent/guardian hunts with us

What We Do Not Offer
- Lodging - Lodging options range from free primitive camping in the hunting areas to furnished cabin rentals, motels, bed & breakfast inns and for pay campgrounds. Options for lodging can be found at Lodging.
- Food - Due to insurance liability restrictions we cannot provide food for our clients. There is a local grocery store and many restaurants to choose from.
- Transportation - We cannot provide transportation to or from the hunt area. Most of the roads to the hunt area are National Forest dirt or gravel roads. Off road vehicles are not permitted behind any gates on Forest Service roads and in most areas not permitted on main roads in the National Forest.
- Hunting License/Permits - Both North Carolina and Tennessee require individual identification so we cannot provide licenses or permits.
- Hunting Equipment, ammunition, tree stands, etc.
- 100% guaranteed kills - We do not offer "canned hunts" where there are animals contained in a fenced in area. We hunt the old fashioned way, free range, fair chase as it offers our clients a true hunting challenge.
- Meat processing - There is a choice of two reliable, affordable meat processors located in Madisonville, TN that can process your meat for you. We can get it field dressed for travel either to the local processor or to your processor in your area. Most meat can be packed in a large cooler of ice for transportation.
- Taxidermy Services - We can recommend a local taxidermist.
Hunting the old fashioned way is a long standing tradition that is continuing with success here in our rural community. Both southeastern Tennessee and southwestern North Carolina are noted for their good populations of large and small game animals.
While some areas only offer an abundance of one or two species, we can offer the opportunity to hunt not only black bear and wild boar, but also "feral hogs" (year round, no bag limit), whitetail deer, wild turkey, grouse, and other small game as well as coyotes. |
