Welcome to Ken Smith's Hunting Idaho web pages! This website is the former home of 62 Ridge Outfitter and Guides, which was operated for many years by Ken, and sold in 2000. We aquired a new area in late 2002 and have been operating there since spring of 2003. Please check all the links above for information about our hunts. Our new hunting location is southwest of Challis, Idaho near the East Fork of the Salmon River in the Yankee Fork Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest. We bring nearly 40 years of guiding and outfitting experience to this new endeavor. Ken grew up in this area, this is his old stomping grounds, and he knows it very well. The area is well known to have a great bull-cow ratio, and trophy bulls. With all our years of outfitting and guiding experience, we can provide you with that "trip of a lifetime". We hope you will be hunting with us in the very near future.
